I’m incredibly excited and proud to announce the launch of our brand new endeavor- a Local Spotlight presented by Thistle Downs Farm! This platform is meant to highlight entrepreneurs who have worked hard and created businesses that have positively impacted the community around them. That said, I can’t think of a better business to start this journey with, than OZZIE’S GLASS GALLERY in South Lee, Massachusetts.

The Man Behind Ozzie’s Glass Gallery
Mike “Ozzie” Ozner is the owner and artist of Ozzie’s Glass Gallery, which has been open for just about three years now. Ozzie himself has been honing his craft for over 20 years, and his work definitely reflects his experience.
In the Gallery…
In his show room you’ll find all kinds of masterfully crafted artwork including jewelry, flower vases, unique wall hangings, animal sculptures, and seasonal pieces like Christmas ornaments, menorahs, and decorative pumpkins.
Ozzie creates all of his work right in his gallery, so you can stop by and watch the magic in action! He’s more than happy to have spectators in his shop, where he can talk them through the process of glass blowing as he creates his art.
His Evolving Passion to Help People Through Times of Loss
Though he has many pieces that he enjoys creating, one of the things that brings him the most joy is creating memorial pieces for people to commemorate their loved ones. Whether it’s a person or a pet, Ozzie takes pride in helping people through times of hardship by creating beautiful, custom memorials, sometimes even incorporating their ashes upon request.
Mila’s Memorials
Having recently experienced the loss of his 14 year old black lab, Mila, this inspired Ozzie and his partner to bring his memorial work to the forefront of his business by creating “Mila’s Memorials,” which will soon include a website dedicated strictly to creating made-to-order memorial pieces for people who have lost a loved one.
