Follow these five steps and you will never eat garlic the same way again!

Supplies & Ingredients

Garlic Bulbs (As many as you want to roast)

Olive Oil

Aluminum Foil

You only need a few items to roast your own garlic.

Step 1:

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2:

Using a knife, carefully cut off the top 1/2 inch of the garlic bulb, exposing the cloves.

Step 3:

Drizzle the cut garlic surface with olive oil. (I did the same with the tops because there was still some valuable pieces of clove in there!)

Step 4:

Wrap the garlic in aluminum foil so they are completely covered.

Step 5:

Roast your garlic at 400 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.

The longer you roast them, the better they will be!

Roasted Garlic Serving Suggestion

Let your roasted garlic cool for a few minutes, and then with a butter knife, scoop out the roasted cloves and spread them on a saltine cracker.

The flavor combination of the sweet, spreadable garlic clove is amazing with the crisp and savory saltine. My grandpa showed me how to eat roasted garlic like this when i was younger, and I’ll never stop!
